pass commissioned to produce mining shovel operator trainging
program for major oilsands company

ek pass, a global training and consulting
firm, is pleased to announce that it has been selected to build an operator
training program for Shovel operators for a major oil producer in Ft.
McMurray, Alberta, Canada. The program will cover operators from all aspects
of experience, from new operator to the very experienced and is designed
to enable the client to educate it's operators using a mix of media types,
classroom, and hands on mentoring approaches.
The project is not limited to one shovel vendor but rather spans multiple
makes & models in the categories of Electric, Diesel, wire rope and
hydraulic shovels including P&H, Terex/O&K and Bucyrus International.
In addition to the shovel programs, ek pass is also creating a Shovel
Oiler program for the same client. Shovel Oilers are those who are responsible
for the care and maintenance of the shovel during its operation, and often
work into the position of Shovel Operator over time.
Many contractors, both civilian and military, turn to ek pass for their
equipment operator training needs. With offices in the United States and
